Jaar is commenting on the relationship being all about oil, as Angola has promised them 10% of production. Here, Jaar has created a mechanical sculpture/installation, where a model of the continent of Africa is emerged and re-emerges from a bath of black oil, stating that the entire continent is disappear behind its oil.
